Sources of Power
PowerA magister and a devotee can light the same fire, and the fire doesn't come to them from the same power source: the magister's comes from having learned to write prana; the devotee's, from a god who grants it. Runifying and praying are two power methods: two ways of using it. And a single power source has more than one — the magister who runifies can also channel —, but however much the power method changes, the power source stays the same.
And you don't need to learn them one by one. Power sources are grouped by the origin they share — a god, the study of prana, what you already carry inside or what is built —, and that's why there are only four power groups. They help you find your bearings broadly: understanding one power source doesn't require knowing the others.
Almost every power source works on the same material: prana, which fills the whole physical world and of which every living being is made; the science that studies it is pranadynamics. Almost all, but not all: some don't touch it at all and still do things anyone would call magic.

Canons
Canons are written in a specific pranic language; only a person who deeply understands that certain language and at the same time knows how to channel prana is able to activate and use it. The more powerful and devastating a canon aims to be, consequently the more complex the syntax of the power formula must be (becoming more intricate and difficult to understand or formulate).
Ways to Invoke Power
The interaction with the prana has been studied and cultivated from different perspectives and approaches, giving rise to large categories of understanding about the sources of power:
theologians
Chosen
People who have been predestined by the gods to carry out a heavenly mission, granting them power of divine use without having cultivated it directly.
Devotion
People who give themselves over to worship the gods in order to attract their favor or intercede for them, turning this faith into formal powers.
Pranadynamics
Magister
They study Pranadynamics to manipulate prana through different methods: runic writing, channeling, codification and pranic rewriting.
Harmony
They manage to deeply connect with their own Senki making it vibrate like an instrument or tuning fork, thus forcing the surrounding prana to harmonize and resonate responding strictly to its internal rhythm and tone.
Enlightened
Senki (戦機)
Power of one's own: neither granted, nor studied, nor built. Senki depends on nothing outside — no god, no instrument, no formula — and that is why it belongs to the Enlightened and not to pranadynamics. A technique reserved to eastern Nabiit, jealously kept inside its sealed domain.
Esper
Individuals gifted from birth and who depend on finding the right balance through peace or rigorous mental training to activate and squeeze mystical anomalies in their favor.
Discipline
A select group of combatants capable of driving and altering physical barriers only in favour of taking their bodies to extremes beyond those practically allowed by cellular systems, maximizing strengths, heights and absurd speeds.

Alchemy
Scholars focused entirely on the empirical side of development, placing active control over elements above pure prana to achieve mutation of reality and the inherent property of objects and people.
Technology
Minds dedicated to the research of electron component operation and traditional explosives giving them the opportunity to be much more skilled with all the destructive engineering not regulated by natural magic currents.
Concentration Zones
Frequently throughout nature, there are areas of the map where high concentrations of fluid chains form (both single types and certain crossings). This generates regions of high propensity and passive ease to make channelizations by having free prana around very willing to receive an order quickly.
